Erdogan demands apology from Dutch Prime Minister

President Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey has promised to retaliate unless the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte apologise over the treatment of Turkey foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. This follows the prevention of Mr Cavusoglu from landing in the Netherlands and Dutch authorities went on to expel Turkish family minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya. The EU have waded in the rift urging the two Nations to exploit diplomatic channels in reaching an amicable settlement. All work and no quarrel eh?…
