The recent launch of a ballistic missile is yet another confirmation that the North Korean administration does not care about peace and stability of the world or any part of the world for that matter, a rhetoric that has been echoed by western leaders. The reality on ground is that President Trump can talk as long as he likes, tweet his locked and loaded threat, Kim Jong Un sees through his bluff, it’s too much a risk to take, not for fear of loosing a nuclear war but for the price of winnning it. No doubt the United States have the most powerful and perhaps well equipped army in the world, but they would not escape being ruffled if Trump decides to confront Mr Kim head-on. North Korea could inflict a serious destruction on the world. It could seriously hurt the United States by attacking it directly or attack its allies such as Guam, Japan or South Korea. Unfortunately Russia and China who could possibly put an end to Mr Kim’s Nuclear obsession have their own agenda they’d like to pursue; end the American Supremacy. President Trump’s weakness will continue to get clearer the more Russia and China continue to fold their arms as both sides are urging the United States to stand down, they have struggled to get recognition from the United States and frustrating America’a effort to shut the North Korean nuclear agenda is a way of telling America that “we want recognition too”. The United States is barely holding on to the status of the most powerful country in the world, a position Russia and China will quickly move to fill should America falls off the cliff edge. Having frustrated America in Syria, the Russians are also doing the same with North Korea by asking the Americans to move away their military base from the Peninsula and stop the joint military exercise with Souh Korea. Both countries understands that helping the united states to solve the quagmire would only make the US stronger. It is an unprecedented catastrophe in waiting, Trump may continue doing the talking, Russia and China can continue playing the spoiler, and the United Nations can continue issueing toothless resolution, North Korea will continue firing the ballistic test until they are ready to start what may well be the beggining of the end, at the moment, they are winning.
