MSPs says yes to Indyref2

It’s a day many hoped would never come after the bitter campaign in 2014 for an Independent Scotland. Today Nicola Sturgeon has won a key Holyrood vote on her plans for a second independence referendum. The vote was won by a 10-vote majority, no thanks to the Scottish Green Party who played the spoiler. Without the support of the Green Party, Sturgeon does not have a majority to pass the motion. It is expected that the First minister will be writing to Theresa May to formally request the right to hold another referendum in spring of 2019. Do you think Westminster should have done more by lobbying the Green Party not to support the SNP? After all there can’t be talks about indyref2 without a successful motion.
