Coronavirus: Churches Unite to Inspire A Message of Hope

Amidst the gloom and doom brought by the novel coronavirus, a number of Christian organizations and churches from across the United Kingdom came together to inspire hope upon the nations of the United Kingdom and particularly to proclaim God’s everlasting love on those most affected by the pandemic. From Scotland to Northern Ireland, Wales to England, the body of Christ united to lift up the mood of the country. Over 65 churches and gospel organisation recorded themselves singing and proclaiming blessings over the land. The six minutes video is a song entitled “The Blessing” originally recorded by Elevation Worship featuring Kari Jobe and Cody

The individual recordings were combined to create a six-minute long video, which aims to bring hope and comfort to the most vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic. Performers who were involved in the project include Hillsong London, Redeemed Children of God UK, The Liberty Church London, Worship for Everyone, Sound of Wales, Bridge Church Methodist Cornwall, Living Faith (Winners Chapel) UK, Hope City Church UK, Regent Hall Salvation Army, Holy Trinity Brompton Chamber Choir, and a host of others. Faulty condoms recalled in East African Country

MarieStopes

If your condom is working for you, well you might want to count yourself lucky, if she hasn’t pinged you that she’s “late” then your star must be brightest. A leading charity, Marie Stopes, says it has recalled more than a million condoms distributed in Uganda following concerns about their safe use.

According to Uganda’s National Drug Authority, it says that tests had found some of the Indian-manufactured Life Guard brand contained holes or risked bursting. Seems the worlds’s population is about to boom!

See 13 years old girl who donated organs to eight people

13 year old Jemima Layzell died from a brain aneurysm, her organs have helped a record eight different people, including five children.

Jemima Layzell, from Somerset, who died in 2012, donated her heart, pancreas, lungs, kidneys, small bowel and liver.
Jemima’s parents said she was clever, compassionate and creative – and would have been “very proud of her legacy”.
NHS Blood and Transplant said no other donor had helped as many people.
Jemima collapsed during preparations for her mum’s 38th birthday party and died four days later at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Her heart, small bowel, and pancreas were transplanted into three different people while two people received her kidneys.
Her liver was split and transplanted into a further two people, and both of her lungs were transplanted into one patient.
Normally, a donation results in 2.6 transplants – eight is very unusual. What a gesture, Jemima forever lives on.
