The General Teaching Council of Scotland is investigating allegations that a head teacher threatened a parent and badly scolded a young student. Elizabeth Manley risks being struck off if the allegations are proven to be true.

Further allegations against the head teacher are that she encouraged a decline of the school’s ethics as well as as intimidating staff. It’s been reported that she screamed “if you are not going to work you can go home, we do not want children like you in this school” at a child.

The head teacher is also been accused of making a boy stand in front of his class and told his fellow students to vote on whether or not she should send him home or give him another chance.

Staff at the Aberdeenshire school have also complained that she is scary, intimidating and unapproachable. She allegedly called a parent at home and spoke to her in an “aggressive and threatening manner”. It is claimed that most of the incidents happened within the spate of 3 years.
