Following the routine stop of a vehicle on West North Street by officers on patrol last month in Aberdeen, a drugs search warrant was subsequently executed at a property in the Summerhill Terrace area of Aberdeen, where the recovery of drugs was made.
The pair, who are local to Aberdeen, have now appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. Enquiry Officer PC Thomas Garrahan of the City Centre Community Policing Team said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling the misuse of illegal drugs and where we have reasonable grounds to suspect drugs misuse may be occurring, we will stop a person or vehicle to investigate further.
“If anyone has concerns about drugs misuse in their area I would ask that they contact Police Scotland on 101 with any details that they have.”
